Belle is a 1 year old, female Pit Bull who was rescued from New Orleans on September 18. She later gave birth to nine puppies at Pasado's Safe Haven shelter in Louisiana. She is a VERY energetic, loving girl who acts like a puppy herself. She could use some obedience training and she shouldn't go to a home with small children as she'd probably knock them over all the time. These Pit Bull mix puppies are currently 4 months old. They were born to Belle (above) at a shelter in Louisiana after their Mom was rescued. The five males have been neutered and all the pups are current on shots and heartworm preventative. The two girls (Alex and Abbe) are being treated for Demodex mange (non-contagious type) so it's possible the other pups could have that condition as well. Demodex occurs in puppies who've been sick or stressed, it is easily treated and rarely re-occurs after puppyhood.
The dogs will be rather large when grown. Currently Cane weighs 35 lbs., Pedro, Ashton and Martin weigh 32 lbs., Abbe weighs 28 lbs. and Cullen and Alex weigh 25 lbs. The boys can all be dominant with each other at times, but Martin and Cullen are the most laid back. The two girls are super sweet.
